The girls are headed Back to School next week and this year is a big milestone for our family. Kate starts Kindergarten which means our preschool years are behind us. That feels so strange to say and to soak in. I can remember having a baby and a toddler and feeling like I couldn’t see past that stage, and here we are. A lot of mixed emotions about sending them back to school, like many moms part of me doesn’t want to send them off and worries I didn’t make the most of the Summer and the other part of me is looking forward to routine and structure and having full days to catch up on all my to dos.
This year I kept our Back To School shopping simple and stress free. I did it all online. I picked up so many cute and affordable clothes and supplies at Walmart and the girls are loving their new outfits!
Brooklyn is at the age where she is starting to develop a true style of her own and so I let her scroll through the site with me and pick out a pair of shoes and she stopped on these adorable booties! I think she likes that they look like shoes I would wear and they have the slightest little chunky heel. She wants to wear them with everything.
Kate landed on these adorable flower detail sneakers that seriously are the cutest things on her little feet! I know they won’t stay white for long, but I’m loving the bright contrast with her dark leggings.
My girls live in leggings because they are comfortable, easy to get on and off and can be worn with shirts and dresses!
The tops they picked out are so soft and stretchy and light. Perfect for the transition from Summer to Fall.
Walmart made back to school shopping so much easier this year. I was able to find everything we needed online, and our budget went so much further!
This was such a fun shoot to work on with the girls. They loved having their little moment in front of the camera. Please send us good vibes for a great school year and first day!
