Hi Friends! I have a lot of brand new products to try today! A few I have used before and a few are fresh out of the box. Everything is pretty glowy- if you don’t like glowy, you’ve been warned! 🙂
Pat McGrath Skin Fetish Foundation
I have on my face Pat Mcgrath Skin Fetish Foundation– lightweight and natural finish that i set with my loose powder. Subtle glow and natural foundation. Not overly dewy or shiny. It might not be best for oily skin types but for dry normal skin types it’s a great option for a glowy look!
NARS amplified their bronzer collection and I’ve reviewed all their products in another video that you can watch here. I love the shade ‘Laguna.’ It comes in both matte and sheen. I applied my bronzer with a fluffy brush to get a light payoff. I used the BK Beauty 104 Brush!
Beauty Bakerie the Cotton Candy Champagne Blush Palette
I got two new palettes! One is the Beauty Bakerie Cotton Candy Champagne Blush Palette. It comes with four shades:
- Sip Sip Hooray
- 24 Hour Champagne Diet- A bright and vibrant pink
- No Champagne No Gain- A very beautiful color that would be beautiful on the eyes, a rosy warm pink
- Stop and Smell the Rose- A plummy, deeper, pink
These shades have a lot of color pay off. Very pigmented, high shine, high shimmer so pretty!
Danessa Myricks Light Works Palette
Danessa Myricks Light Work Palette is a face palette for highlight and bronzer. The shades are:
- Like Duh- stark white
- Common Sense- golden champagne color
- Piece of Cake- pretty silvery pink
- Easy Breezy- similar to common sense but less gold
- Smooth Sailing- soft, peachy champagne shade
The formula is almost look like a cream product the shades are very foiled and opaque!
I used Sip Sip Hooray on my cheeks. I used the BK Beauty 104 fluffy brush again so I can have a soft application.
My eyes will be super simple. I am going to use the NARS Bronzer Laguna to create a transition shade in my crease. I used the Wayne Goss 16 Brush and this bronzer created the perfect transition shade for me! Travel hack: use your bronzer on your eyes so you have to pack less makeup!
I went into the Danessa Myricks Palette and I used common sense on my eyelid using my BK Beauty 203 Brush. It’s a nice product because even though it has a lot of color and shine it feels lightweight on the skin! Lightweight powders are great to use because they don’t amplify texture.
On my outer corner I used the shade ‘No Prob.’ This shade looks like a shiny new penny!
For my brow highlight I used ‘Like Duh’ and applied it very softly under my brow using my BK Beauty 206 Brush. This product goes a long way! A light touch of the brush yields a lot of product.
I used “Piece of Cake’ to highlight my nose, my cupids bow, and the inner corner of my eyes. I am so glowy!!
House of Sillage Lipstick Case and Refill
For my lips I received the House of Sillage lipstick and I’ve been wanting to share! The packaging is so beautiful and it is a refillable lipstick tube. I used their nude shade and it is so beautiful! It has a lovely peachy pink to it, not too cool or warm toned. The texture is buildable and if you go over your lips a couple of times you’ll get an opaque finish but you can also do a sheer application and it will look so pretty! Feels creamy and looks pretty!
I topped my lips with the NARS Oil Infused Lip Gloss in the color ‘Reef.’
I put a little mascara on my lower lashes but nothing else to keep the focus on my glowy skin!
Something I skipped in this look is an eye primer because the products have so much shimmer!
The makeup lasted really well all day! I was concerned using so much shimmer but it wore really well! Let me know what you think of this look! xoxo
