Best Discovered Beauty in 2019
Hey Friends! I’ve gathered up my FAVORITE products from 2019. These are products I discovered and loved last year, and they continue to be staples in my beauty routine.
You’ve heard me mention this mask several times. It’s half the price of the Oribe hair mask and it’s the best! I use this as a conditioner every time I wash my hair. It’s pretty thick, so I avoid applying it near my roots. Be careful not to apply too much! For fine, thin hair, this may be too heavy.
This hair serum was launched with the Quench and Shine Mask. I apply it to wet hair- it’s too heavy for me on dry hair since I like to stretch out my washes to 2-3 days.
I discovered this product from another beauty blogger Sazan. Charcoal is a great ingredient that absorbs oil and leaves your hair feeling clean and fresh.
Another dry hair spray that works wonders for my hair! The unique thing about this product is it not only refreshes your hair, it smells good and leaves your hair super soft!
I wasn’t using a clarifying shampoo before I discovered this product! This really helps to remove build up from products and minerals in water. I use it once every 2 weeks (or about every 5-7 washes) and one bottle will last 6 months!
This amazing product is described as a lotion but it feels more like a toner and has completely changed my skincare game! It has helped me to have the best skin of my entire life! It gives me a glow that no other product has! I apply with a gauze pad and press it into my face and neck. It helps with pore size and can come in different formulas depending on skin type. It may help to dilute with water until your skin gets used to the formula. During the winter I recommend using every other day and using a gentler serum in between. Magic in a bottle! If you have questions on which formula is best for you, contact Laurel Corrine in Austin, she can help consult you over the phone and she can even ship it to you!
This sunscreen does not provide coverage but does a great job of evening out skin tone! Sometimes when I don’t feel like wearing makeup I’ll apply this with some concealer and be good to go. It also works great under my foundations. My favorite EltaMD sunscreen product because of the versatility!
I discovered this primer at the end of the year and I love it! It blurs the pores and gives skin a nice glow. Rehydrates my skin without making it tacky or sticky. If you have dry skin and are looking for a moisturizing primer this is a great option!
I haven’t talked about this one a lot but it is beautiful! I wear shade medium. It is great for dry, mature, or textured skin. It is radiant but not over glowly or dewy. It blurs pores and the texture is thin, meaning a little goes a long way! The coverage is natural to medium.
This foundation is a long-wear, matte foundation with medium to full coverage. You can put this on in the morning, and not think about it all day long! Great for oily skin types or people who live in humid climates. I wear shade 2.5N. The texture is thick but not heavy! One of my most worn foundations of 2019!
Radiant and longwearing. This La Mer foundation is the perfect balance between glowy and natural matte with spf 20! I wanted it for a long time and finally took the plunge! I love it so much. If you are looking for a cheaper option the L’oreal Pro Glow is just as nice.
These foundation drops give you the most customized coverage and finish for your foundation! You can mix with foundation, moisturizer, or primer and can build your own coverage. A unique and exceptional product.
A beautiful foundation with spf 15 and I would compare it to the La Mer but with a more full coverage. This foundation inspired me to expand my Charlotte Tilbury collection. Check out more Charlotte Tilbury products here!
This is a unique and versatile product. It is kind of like a liquid highlight and can be used before or after foundation. It gives your skin a soft, glow from within look
This is such an amazing powder! I would definitely put this powder in my top 5 finds of 2019! I love that it is a drugstore product. It is a great powder that gives a little bit of color and coverage and blurs the pores. Because it has some pigment I wouldn’t use this to touch up throughout the day to avoid heaviness. A great setting powder that keeps you looking radiant!
I discovered this brand last year and I love the quality of their eye shadows! Very pigmented with excellent finish that is easy to work with and easy to blend. Creamy, beautiful and affordable!
A matte blush duo that comes in two peach shades and is perfect for those with fair skin. Very pigment and blends out easily that makes for a great everyday blush palette!
I love the golden quartz color but this eye crayon is amazing overall! It comes in a thick, chubby pencil. I use it as a liner and sometimes as a shadow. It is easy to use and can be smudged out with a brush. Creamy, rich, and sets without moving a lot.
This color corrector is a great versatile product. It works great as a color correct to cover dark spots and also as a concealer. The formula is natural and lightweight. Have been using everyday since I purchased it and I love it!
This bronzer has a subtle shimmer and the formula is versatile. Not too warm or cool. I love using this!
This lip gloss smells amazing and has such an amazing applicator. It can be used on top of lipstick or by itself. My favorite gloss right now!
A comfortable liquid lipstick that is long-wearing. Pigmented and lightweight and comfortable.
A perfect muted, pink, nude shade! I love this one and works great for my lip color and skin tone. A great formula with a perfect muted nude shade.
I haven’t used a clear gloss in a long time! This gloss makes the lips look like glass with a subtle sweet scent! I wear it by itself or on top of color.
A natural, lighter concealer. This concealer is sheer and great for days that you don’t want to wear foundation and builds up easily.
A great brow gel because the size and shape of this one is perfect for creating precise brows! I wear it with or without a pencil depending on the type of definition I want to my brow.
This is another great brow gel that I love but will always use with a pencil.
This powder is a fave because it’s natural looking and has the most subtle light reflective particles to it that prevents the skin from looking flat or dry. It’s a great option for under eyes, and for dry skin.
