Today we are talking about products I’ve been using and loving in the month of August! I have a good amount of beauty products. Some of them are new and others are some that I’ve used before and rediscovered and fell in love with again.
GHD Curve® Classic 1 1/4-Inch Curl Iron
The first product is responsible for my hair in this video! It’s the GHD Curve Curling Iron 1 ¼. I got this as part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I love it! I wasn’t planning on purchasing this as part of the sale but I saw my friend’s curls and I noticed they had a nice beachy wave to them and I wanted her look! My curls were looking a little tighter and bigger since I’d been using the T3. I love this iron because it heats up quickly. I only use it for a few seconds and it glides down the hair gently and without using a lot of effort. I love how my hair looks, even on the second day! If you struggle with getting a relaxed beachy wave look. I would highly recommend this curling iron!

I’ve been using silk hair ties for a while as an option for a tie that will be gentle on my hair. I have a silk tie I’ve been using for a few years but it’s super stretched out. I picked up the Another 13 fragrance by Le Labo as a part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It comes in a pack of 2 with the scent Santal 33. Another 13 smells so good! It is a clean and musky scent. Next time you are at Nordstrom, try it on! It is pricey so just give it a try first! So, so good! It lasts all day long!
I use this serum in the mornings when I go for my morning run. It leaves a nice dewy glow to the skin. I don’t wear it underneath or in place of makeup. It is my “get out the door and protect the skin product.” It has an interesting scent so that is something to be aware of. It morphs to color of your skin and leaves you skin glowy!
I have just started reincorporating this back into my skincare routine. It’s really hot here and cleaning with my fingers just doesn’t feel like enough. It leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean! I love it!
I like to describe this lip product as a blend between a lip gloss and a lip balm. It looks like a gloss and feels like a balm. I like the Watermelon and Clear colors. It’s very unique! It gives the lips a glossy and juicy look. Very pretty! It has a fair amount of color but it is transparent. I’ll wear the clear when I go on a run so I have a nice gloss without the color.
I have three of these bands. I have two leopard print bands and a neutral one. I’ve been wearing these a lot lately because they are easy to put on and take off. I run in them- they are sweat proof and fit easily on my smaller wrist. They have a lot of different band options but my favorites are the subtle! They are so cute.
JK Magic Lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury
This lipstick is a part of her Hotlips 2 collection. It’s a really nice nude! It’s not too dark, not too light. A great natural lip color- a little bit peachy. It is highly pigmented and comfortable on the lips. A great traditional cream formula.
Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Shadow by Charlotte Tilbury
I love the shade Oyster Pearl. A great cream shadow. I’ve been loving this for months! I’ve been wearing this a lot this month because I have been wanting to do something quick. This product is great because it can be used sheerly, or build it to make it opaque. A great one and done product. You can use either your finger or a brush. A great simple product that will give you a great finished look!
Color Chameleon Eye Crayon by Charlotte Tilbury
I’ve been wearing the shade Golden Quartz as eyeliner on my lower lash line. This product is great because it gives the look of an eyeshadow but it’s a pencil and it stays on all day. It’s a gorgeous olive-bronze color. So pretty!
BK Beauty 108 Precision Powder Brush
I love this brush! I use it for blush, concealer under my eyes, and to set with powder. In mornings when I’m rushing this is my go-to! It’s very versatile. It’s a great shape and size! Highly recommend trying this brush. You can also use it for highlighting.
I’ve simplified my routine a bit and lately i’ve just been using the Boy Brow. This has a bit more color than the Benefit Gimme Brow and it looks like I’ve used a pencil when I fill in my brows. I like the small size of the wand because it gives great control on how you apply it.
This product was recommended to me by my health coach to sleep and relax. I take this every night after my bedtime routine. I place it under my tongue and swallow after a few minutes. It has been a good alternative to melatonin for me. It helps you feel very relaxed!
