Hi Friends! Urban Decay recently launched their Elements Palette on QVC and I could not be more excited to share this bold, and beautiful palette with you! Inspired by the Four Ruling Elements of the Zodiac: Air, Earth, Fire and Water, this palette offers a variety of shades to cover any look from earth tones to jewel tones.

When I received this palette, I immediately hopped on QVC’s website and I just loved the short video I watched where I heard the story of Urban Decay and their mission to create bold beautiful colors for self expression. A palette for the true makeup addict who sees applying their makeup as an art form and expressing their personality.

The palette offers 19 highly pigmented shades that range in texture from mattes, shimmers and metallics and retails for $56. Or opt in for the 4 payments of $14 with QVC Easy Pays (see offer for more details). Also new customers to QVC get $5 off their first order with the code FIVE4U. I recently started shopping QVC for beauty products after learning they have some of the best beauty bundle deals. You'll find bundles of products, at major discounts than buying the products separately from other retailers. If you haven't checked out their beauty department, definitely head over and see for yourself.

In addition to the palette, I got a few other Urban Decay products including their fan favorite Eyeshadow Primer Potion . I remember this eyeshadow primer being one of the originals in my collection in what seems like at least a decade ago. Its as good as I remember. What I love about it, is its transparency. It serves as a true primer that won't alter the color of the shadow, only enhance it! And can I just say as a makeup artist, I love layering products but appreciate when they are thin and invisible. It allows you to build without a heavy over applied look. And the staying power is as good as I remember it. I also like that it has a wand to apply it on the lids very easily, and blend out with finger. I also received and tried the Urban Decay NAKED Skin Foundation. I am not sure how on earth I had not tried this foundation before. Especially as a beauty blogger, I am embarrassed to admit. I ordered the shade 4.0 Medium and its the perfect shade for my Summer Tan. I've been wearing it the last few days, and its held up very well during this off the charts humidity here in Austin. I'd say its a medium coverage, and a semi matte finish. Being 35 and living in one of the hottest climates in the Country, I am always looking for foundation that gives good coverage, feels weightless and lasts all day. This foundation checks all those boxes for me.

And the last product I tried was their lipstick in the shade Back Talk. I feel like I had heard about this particular shade from so many other beauty bloggers or cute girls on Instagram so I ordered it without hesitation. I can see why this color is a fan favorite, it is one of those shades that anyone can wear. When I was a working makeup artist, I had a lip palette with about 30 shades of lipstick, yet there were only about 3 colors that I actually used on everyone. And this color falls directly into that category. A midtone rosey, pink mauve. Lighten it with gloss or deepen it with a lip liner. You can go any direction with it. Its flattering on all skin tones. And the texture of these lipsticks are AH-MAZING! So pigmented and creamy. Stay on your lips through a meal but offer a comfortable wear too. Don't forget to use the code FIVE4U if you are a new QVC shopper to get $5 off your first order!
