*Thank you so much to Colleen Rothschild Beauty for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting brands that support this blog, as I only work with brands I truly love myself.
Hi friends! If you have watched my YouTube channel before or have been following me for a while, then you probably have heard me talk about Colleen Rothschild a few times already! I was first introduced to the brand in April of last year and ever since then, I have incorporated quite a few of the products into my daily skincare routine.
When Colleen Rothschild reached out to me about helping to spread the word about their Fifth Anniversary Sale, I was so excited! From January 28th- February 3rd, you can receive 20% off sitewide using code 5AVS
I really do love so many of the products, but I also don’t want this blog post and accompanying YouTube video to be too long, so I have narrowed it down to five products! It was so difficult to pick just five, as I have really enjoyed using most of the products I have tried. This is one of those beauty brands that I am confident people will have a great experience with when they try it themselves.
My goal with skincare is to find a routine that is luxurious, yet effective, and can easily be recreated by someone else at home. I will be explaining each product as it relates to an important step in your overall skincare routine, and I don’t think you will be disappointed!

RADIANT CLEANSING BALM
This is one of the first products from Colleen Rothschild that I tried and I was blown away! The first step in my skincare routine, and any routine is to thoroughly cleanse your skin with a gentle, yet effective face cleanser. This is an oil-based cleanser that will help to remove makeup, dirt, and other impurities.
In order to remove makeup, you take the thick solid balm and rub it between your two fingers to warm it up. Then I rub the product into my face and allow it time to break down the makeup and completely dissolve it, before removing the balm.
After cleansing is complete, I wet a muslin cloth (included with balm) in warm or hot water and wipe away any excess product or residue from my face. Since the product is thick and oil-based, I would highly recommend to not just use water to rinse off product, you really need something like a muslin cloth to remove it from skin.
On days where my skin feels a bit drier (like in winter), I use this as a one-step cleanser because it leaves my skin feeling so soft and hydrated. I have used less expensive versions in the past and they end up feeling too waxy and leave my skin dry.
You only need a small amount of this balm with each application, so the jar will last you a good amount of time. Each time I use it, my face feels so much more radiant and supple… I just love brighter skin after makeup removal.
2. CLARIFYNG DETOX MASK
Everyone needs a good treatment mask in their skincare routine, and this activated charcoal and clay mask is really a game changer. While I do have a great skincare routine and have found great products for my skin, it is still susceptible to stress, hormones, and even pesky breakouts. The charcoal in the mask acts as a magnet, pulling out and expelling dirt and other impurities from your pores.
You simply apply this on clean skin and leave on for about 10-15 minutes. The pure MicroSilver combined with the charcoal and French Kaolin Clay promotes clearer skin by reducing bacteria and assisting in dirt removal in order to achieve clearer skin. The combination of Vitamin C and Willowherb extract ensures that skin stays brighter, while also reducing and soothing inflammation after mask removal. After using this mask, my skin feels refreshed and not irritated or dry like some other charcoal-based face masks.
3. FACIAL OIL No9
This product is probably one you have heard about, and if you follow my YouTube channel, you have certainly heard me mention it before! A good face oil is such an important part of any skincare routine, especially in winter when my skin feels a bit drier.
The Facial Oil No9 is not too heavy of an oil and doesn’t leave a sticky feeling after use. It has marula oil, black seed oil, and omega 3,6, and 9, which helps to leave the skin looking and feeling so radiant after use. It’s not too heavy either and won’t leave a sticky feeling on your skin after applying. I have used some other facial oils in the past, and while they can leave skin looking beautiful in the morning, but I just hate that heaviness that some oils can leave behind.
I have also been known to add a few drops to my makeup routine as well. When I am using a more full coverage or matte-finish foundation and I want a slightly thinner consistency or a little more radiance, I’ll mix a small amount of this in for a more radiant and luxurious makeup application and finish.
I feel that the Facial Oil No9 is such a versatile product and a great introductory product for someone wanting to try out the line for the first time.
4. SHEER RENEWAL CREAM
This is more of a recent product that I discovered from Colleen Rothschild, but definitely an important part of my skincare and makeup routine. The Sheer Renewal Cream is a lightweight moisturizer that won’t leave the skin feeling too greasy.
It is a great daytime or all-purpose moisturizer, especially for those with combo or oily skin. It absorbs quickly into the skin and after a few minutes, it leaves a “set or powder feel” finish. A powder-like finish does not mean that your skin will look dry or powdered, rather, it won’t leave your skin feeling tacky, like some other moisturizers can leave behind.
I stick to using this in the mornings, as I love something a little bit more rich at night. It is oil-free and feels almost weightless on skin and adds the ideal amount of moisture. If you are looking for a good moisturizer that won’t interfere with your makeup and will leave skin replenished and hydrated, this Sheer Renewal Cream comes highly recommended.
5. Retinol Supreme Eye Serum
I have been using the Colleen Rothschild Retinol Supreme Eye Serum for probably the better half of last year. Prior to getting a bit more consistent with this, I had always used eye cream in a jar. I had tried other eye serums in the past, but nothing that I ended up sticking with or adding into my skincare routine.
I have the Complete Eye Cream from her line as well and use it as part of my daytime and nighttime skincare routine. I rotate this serum into my skincare routine about 4-5 nights week and it gives such a nice radiant feel to the skin. Since it is retinol-based, you are going to want to use it at night. You can combine this serum with the eye cream if you like, but sometimes I will use the serum completely alone as well.
You want to concentrate this right around the eye area… I use it right under my eye and on my orbital bone as well. It has a very lightweight texture and also has a similar feel to the Facial Oil No9. If you are into using more anti-aging products, this is a really great addition to any skincare routine.
As I mentioned above, if you follow along with my YouTube channel, you have probably heard me mention these products before! There is also a video to correspond to this post, so be sure to check that out as well if you have a minute!
I hope you found these product recommendations helpful and if you have any questions, always feel free to reach out! I mentioned a bit in my video as well about the Premium Collection Kit, which is a really nice way to try out her products, without fully committing to a full-size of any one products. It includes 8 travel-sized (very generous travel-size) products, a muslin cloth, and a bag!
