Hi friends! Hope your Summer is off to a great start, we’ve already got one family vacation, under our belt and one more planned for Summer break. I love this family focused time of the year. We recently got back from Disney World and I wanted to share a lip product I brought along for both travel days to and from. While I didn’t wear much makeup during our actual park days, I packed my MAC Powder Kiss Lipsticks with me to wear both travel days. I love this formula because its long wearing, offers moisture that most mattes don’t, and its a soft and powder like finish. Easy to apply without liner and gives the lips a full look.
I like to apply a lip primer before applying any lipstick to help reduce texture (fine lines) in the lips, and keep the lipstick on longer and prevent it from feathering. If you want to ensure longer wear, apply a lipliner close to your natural lip color, my favorite are MAC nude lip pencils are Whirl (rose), Spice (peachy nude) and Stripdown (brown nude).
I picked up my lipsticks in “Sultriness” and “Scattered Petals” from Ulta Beauty. I find these shades to be the perfect tone for days I want to wear more eye makeup, or the days I keep the eyes simple and natural.
