Makeup Tips for Mature Eyes

June 27, 2017 / Beauty, Uncategorized

Hi Friends! I uploaded this video as a follow up to my Favorite Foundations for Mature Skin that went up on my channel a couple of months ago. That video is one of my most popular videos on my channel and I got such great feedback from you all, I thought this would be a great follow up topic.

I first want to say, if you are new to my channel or my blog, I should give some background on what qualifies me to give tips on mature skin makeup. While I am no spring chicken, I do realize that 34 years old is not what most people would consider mature skin. I actually don’t like putting an age on what “mature skin” means. I have seen women 10 years apart, with the younger having more aged looking skin than the older. This video pertains to people who feel their skin is starting to/or has dramatic signs of aging and everyone in between. Texture, wrinkles, fine lines, sun damage, dryness, loss of elasticity are all things that happen as we get older. And that effects the way our makeup looks on the skin.

Having been a makeup artist for over decade, I have worked on hundreds of faces. All ages, all skin types. I’ve learned a lot over the years from other artists, and from trial and error. I hope these tips are helpful!
